A coalescing filter element is a high-efficiency filtration component designed for liquid-liquid separation. Its primary function is to coalesce emulsified and free water in oil into larger droplets and then separate them. The coalescing layer merges fine water droplets into larger ones, while the hydrophobic separating layer blocks water passage, achieving effective oil-water separation. It is widely used for oil dehydration and purification.
