Coalescer filter elements should be stored in a dry, cool environment free of corrosive gases, away from direct sunlight and moisture. The shelf life of unopened original packaging is typically 3 years. Once opened, they should be installed promptly. If exposed to air for more than one month, moisture absorption may affect initial dehydration performance. Under normal operating conditions, the service life of a coalescer filter element is generally 6–12 months, depending on water content and contamination level. It is recommended to regularly monitor downstream water content and replace the element in a timely manner.
