SAF2507 Super Duplex Wedge Wire Filter Element Johnson Type.The wedge wire filter element, also known as a V-shaped wire filter or Johnson screen element, is a cylindrical filtration device precision-manufactured by resistance welding stainless steel V-shaped (wedge) wires onto longitudinal support rods. Its defining design features a trapezoidal slot profile that narrows towards the outside and widens internally, with the slot openings running continuously around the entire circumference. During production, the apex of each V-wire faces outward while the flat base is welded to the support rods, ensuring exceptional dimensional accuracy and uniformity. Free from transverse weave intersections, this structure enables smooth fluid or gas flow with minimal pressure drop, while delivering outstanding collapse resistance and structural integrity.
